At 7 pm last night the m/v CMA CGM Don Pascuale berthed at AGCT. This is the second of 5 upgraded container vessels introduced by CMA CGM in the joint service with Maersk Line which is directly connecting the North Adriatic ports with the Far East.

Exactly 2 weeks ago at AGCT we had an opportunity to see the CMA CGM Cendirillon, which, with its 334 m of length and 8 469 TEU capacity became the largest container vessel in the history of port of Rijeka.

CMA CGM Don Pascuale is also 334 m long, but his capacity is even larger = 8 533 TEU, hence this is now the new record holder!

But that’s not all – just like his predecessor, most of the crew on this vessel as well is from the region, while the Master himself is from Rijeka!
