Tonight, Friday May 10th at AGCT we will berth Maersk Hamburg – the largest capacity container vessel that ever arrived to Rijeka.
„Maersk Hamburg“, a H-class Maersk vessel was constructed in 2018. With 353 m in length and 54 meters width it's nominal capacity goes over 15.000 TEU.
Although it is 14 m „shorter“ than the previously deployed vessels in 2M service, due to its wider breadth it has almost 2.000 TEU higher capacity. The regular weekly service that connects Rijeka directly to the Far East is served by Maersk and MSC, the two shipping lines forming 2M Alliance, and the introduction of H-class vessels they are increases their service capacity as well as presence in the North Adriatic.
