We are pleased to announce that Iñigo Nuñez Mendibe has joined AGCT as our new Chief Executive Officer and officially took up his position on February 1st, 2026.
Iñigo joined the ICTSI group in 2021 as Senior Manager in the Global Commercial team. He then led Commercial for the terminals in Papua New Guinea, was part of the Durban project implementation team, and most recently served as Head of Strategy for Manila North Port. His education includes international business studies at Universidad CEU San Pablo (Spain), Boston University (USA) and Pontifícia Universidade Católica (Brazil).
Iñigo’s statement: “I am both humbled and excited to lead AGCT into its next chapter. Looking forward to working together with the team as well as customers, port users, partners and authorities to reinforce the terminal’s strategic role in the Adriatic.”
We also take the opportunity to thank Emmanuel Papagiannakis for his leadership of AGCT since October 2019. Emmanuel has taken up the role of Senior Director, Head of Commercial Philippines at ICTSI headquarters.
