Last weekend was reserved for Maersk Houston, the latest vessel from the H-class Maersk vessels. This class includes 11 vessels and 9 of them are calling Rijeka for the last two months as a part of 2M service.
With a total capacity of 15,282 TEUs, Maersk Houston is the last in the row of H-class vessels and at the same time, the "youngest" container vessel ever arrived to Rijeka, recently completed in the HHI shipyard in South Korea.
The vessel is 353 m long and 54 m wide and as a part of H-class, with width of 2,000 TEU, their capacity is larger than the capacity of earlier vessels in 2M service.
