In 2019 AGCT handled 271.817 TEU, an increase of 20% over 2018. Growth was driven by intermodal volumes to/from Central Europe, while Croatian volume was flat.
The terminal serviced 314 container vessels and 15 Cruise ships.
Future growth will be driven by volumes to/from South-East & Central Europe.
AGCT upgraded Intermodal Yard will further enhance the efficiency in handling train movements to/from the Terminal. AGCT is working closely with Rijeka Port Authority, Croatian Rail, rail operators and shipping lines to explore, enhance and promote AGCT’s position as a gateway terminal to the Balkan countries and Central European countries.
