As we announced previously, from April 1st there maritime market is reacher for the services of another, new shipping alliance called OCEAN ALLIANCE.
The alliance consists of 4members: CMA CGM, COSCO, EVERGREEN, OOCL and APL (part of the CMA CGM group).
It is actually an extended aliance whose direct service from the Far East was already present in Rijeka – but in a slightly different members composition and under a different name. The OCEAN THREE alliance, as its name suggests, gathered three shipping companies, namely: CMA CGM, CSCL and UASC.
The new direct weekly service between Rijeka and the Far East will be callling Rijeka every Tuesday, with the following ports rotation: Shanghai – Ningbo – Busan – Shekou – Singapore – Port Said – Malta – Koper – Trieste – Rijeka – Venice – Koper – Malta – Damietta – Jeddah – Port Kelang – Shekou – Shanghai
Announced transit time:
The first vessel in the new service, "APL OREGON" will be sailing from Shanghai on April 6th and its arrival in Rijeka is expected on May 9th, 2017.
