As of next week Evergreen will return Rijeka in rotation of its regular weekly Adriatc Levant Service (ADL).This butterfly operation connects East Med sector and the North Adriatic region via Pireas.
Being the first port of call in Adriatic, Rijeka has the most competitive transit times from the East Med sector, as follows:
- 6 days from the port Limassol - Cyprus
- 7 days from the port Beirut - Lebanon
- 9 days from the port Dekheila, Alexandria – Egypt
As the total service cycle is 21 days, the service will deploy 3 vessels with capacities between 1600 – 1700 TEU which where already present in Rijeka:
- Mary Schulte (179 m, 1702 TEU)
- Uni-Phoenix (181 m, 1200 TEU)
- A. Obelix (182 m, 1700 TEU)
