We are very pleased to introduce Mr. Emmanuel Papagiannakis (Manny), new AGCT’s Head of Management Board.
Mr. Papagiannakis will be succeeding Mr. Wojciech Szymulewicz, who has been with us from May 2016.
Mr. Papagiannakis comes from a role as Chief Commercial Officer of Victoria International Container Terminal, ICTSI’s subsidiary in Melbourne, Australia. In the past two years, since he joined ICTSI, Manny was leading commercial development as Commercial Director, but also covered a broader global commercial role within the ICTSI group. Manny has over 20 years of industry experience with Patrick Terminals and APMT, before joining ICTSI he oversaw APMT’s commercial activities in Asia as Head of Commercial. Manny has a wealth of terminal operating experience, an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the entire supply chain and an extensive global network of senior relationships throughout our industry.
Wojciech Szymulewicz, who was leading the terminal in Rijeka since May 2016, was appointed as CEO of another European ICTSI unit (BCT – Baltic Container Terminal) located in Gdynia, Poland.
We are confident that with his excellent global knowledge the industry, Mr. Papagiannakis brings a lot of new ideas and projects will greatly contribute to the further development of AGCT and strengthen our position as one of the strategic container ports of the northern Adriatic.
