- Intermodal Yard
- Part of the yard specially allocated for handling of containers on rail. This part is currently in development and heavy investments – RMG’s (Rail Mounted Gantries) have arrived in May 2013, have been installed, tested and parked while upgrading of the yard is on-going. Currently we are using one rail track and handling containers using Reach stackers, but by the end of 2014, when the development of the yard is finalized, we will be operating on 4 rail tracks under 2 RMG’s giving us annual capacity of 360,000 TEU. AGCT’s Intermodal yard is supported by a rail station (of additional 8 tracks) designed exclusively to cater the needs of the container terminal. Using adequate services AGCT made sure that the terminal services stay uninterrupted during the upgrade of the Intermodal yard.
